LE BOIS DES AMOUREUX
Partant de Saint-Véran il faut s’arrêter au « Bois des Amoureux ». Outre ses mélèzes majestueux, ce bois doit son nom au fait qu’à l’époque de l’exil il était un lieu important du culte clandestin, de rencontres et de préparation des départs. Le rassemblement protestant annuel de Molines, la fête du bois des amoureux, a lieu tous les ans, début juillet. En été, vous pouvez profiter dans ce bois d’un snack pour faire une pause, d’un parcours accrobranche et d’un centre équestre.
PIERRE-GROSSE
A 1910 m d’altitude, Pierre Grosse, hameau de la commune de Molines en Queyras, présente une belle homogénéité qu’on peut admirer depuis le chemin du Bois des Amoureux. Ce village idéalement situé sur un versant adret, est exposé plein sud. Au passage il faut voir le temple, au milieu du village : une construction traditionnelle remarquable. Pensez à admirer les nombreux cadrans solaires réalisés par l’un de nos cadranier local, Rémy Potey.
LES PRATS - PRAT-HAUT & LES PRAT-BAS
Prat-haut et Prat-bas dépendent de la commune de Château VilleVieille. Entourés de forêts de mélèzes, découvrez le paysage champêtre où là aussi les agriculteurs sont les gardiens d’une nature vivante et préservée. Vue imprenable sur les demoiselles coiffées ou le Sommet Bûcher.
AIGUILLES
Aiguilles, chef-lieu du canton du Queyras, est d’abord un village reconstruit. On y trouve de belles maisons de style urbain construites par des émigrés revenus au pays (au 19è siècle des aiguillons partaient aux Amériques, en Argentine, au Mexique... pour faire fortune). Ainsi Aiguilles possède une maison Eiffel entièrement métallique, et une mairie à l’architecture remarquable, de style 3è République, entièrement faite en pierre de taille et revêtue de plomb. Aiguilles est le siège des services de santé du Queyras : Maison de santé, hôpital, pharmacie.
